Drawn to the intricate detail and historical anecdotes which accompanied them, Michael Cotton's passion for coin collecting began. Encouragement from his entrepreneurial grandfather; the late Des Scanlan, led to the successful business venture into the world of jewellery and the initial concept of Cotton & Co began. Since then Michael has collaborated other home grown designers and in 2009 the Cotton & Co label was launched nationwide. The brand has grown immensely since then creating several other labels since then; including BowerBird Australia & Marisa Kate Designs and continues to look for new ideas and create new designs releasing several collections ever year.
